// A Bit About Me
I resides in Charlottesville, Virginia. I am originally from Southern California where I resided for 32 years before moving to Charlottesville in 1993. While in California I was a high school history teacher for 15 years before opening up my own construction business. I had a knack for training dogs and in 2001 I bought my first cocker, Murphy. I'd never owned a field bred cocker and fell in love with the breed immediately which led me in 2004 to get my next cocker, Belle. What amazed me about these two dogs was their high intelligence, tremendous energy level and drive to hunt and yet their gentle off switch with allowed them to live as members of our family. If you own a cocker, they will make you laugh. They certainly have a great sense of humor. Over the past 20 years I have hunted my cockers all over the United States and have garnered more than 75 placements at AKC field trials with my dogs. I find it a privilege and an honor to own such fine quality dogs and I love sharing my line of pups with folks around the country. All my cockers are know for their outstanding qualities in the field and at home.
