Meet The Dogs!

NAFC, FC, AFC Jesse of Terrybrook (retired)

Jesse has always stood out. She is stylish, quick, has a keen sense of smell, and enjoys hunting and training. In 2020, I had the opportunity to handle her to a National Championship win in Marysville, Ohio. She has traveled with me across much of the U.S., hunting in various states. Jesse has great stamina and enjoys relaxing on the couch with my family in the evenings. She has been the foundation of my breeding program. Although she is retired from breeding and field trials, we recently enjoyed a pheasant hunt in Montana and a grouse hunt in Maine. Jesse is a pleasure as a hunting partner and always puts a smile on my face.

Terrybrook's Isabelle is Waiting (Izzy)

Izzy is one of my young up-and-comers, and let me tell you, she's one spirited pup! She brings so much joy and laughter to everyone around her. Watching her in the field is a thrill—she's strong and full of energy. Recently, during our hunting trip to Montana, I gave her a chance to hunt a wooded area next to a wheat field at just 17 months old. Having never flushed a pheasant before, she dove into the thick cover like a pro. After a little while, she finally flushed her first wild rooster! I missed the shot, my buddy next to me missed too, but another friend nailed it from about 70 yards away. Despite the excitement, Izzy stayed calm, sitting silently where the bird had taken off and then made an impressive retrieve. She's definitely one to keep around! The pic above shows her with the rooster. She truly loves working and has such a gentle nature and is a pleasure in our house.

Sankhenak's Aianinin (Clay)

Meet Clay, a true powerhouse of determination and skill. With a single-minded focus, he excels in the field, hunting, instinctively chasing down and retrieving game. No bird stands a chance against his relentless drive. Whether it's tracking in heavy cover or working the edges of a windbreak, Clay displays unmatched talent. Last year in Montana, he confidently trailed a running rooster for over 300 yards, showcasing his impressive abilities. When the bird eventually hunkered down, Clay delivered a stunning flush and retrieval. His boundless energy makes him just as remarkable at home, proving he’s the whole package.

Terrybrook's Homegrown Tomatoes (Bug)

When Bug was a young pup we discovered our home grown tomatoes were being eaten by a four legged tomato Bug. Bug is one of the smartest and most fun cockers I've ever worked with. Once you show her something, she remembers it for life. Her energy is incredible! She's fast, stylish, and absolutely loves to hunt, making those big retrieves look easy. Plus, she’s a sweet dog and a great companion around the house. She’s now enjoying her retirement.

Terrybrook's Thirsty Boots

Boots is a highly energetic dog known for her stamina, style and funny personality. She is intelligent and does not tire easily during a days hunt. While other dogs may need a break, Boots is persistent and enjoys her work in the field. On a trip to Montana in 2024, put up over 50 sharptail grouse flushing multiple coveys in under 20 minutes. Boots displays a remarkable ability to flush multiple birds, wait for us to shoot, retrieve the birds, and then continue her work. She is impressive to watch in action. Additionally, Boots is not only an excellent hunting and field trial companion but also enjoys relaxing on the couch, making her a great house dog.

Terrybrook's The Flower That Shattered The Stone (Heidi)

Heidi is a great young pup out of Jesse. She's incredibly fast and stylish, with a playful "cockery" approach to her hunt. Recently while training her a friend of mine joked, "she's so fast and stylish she makes me dizzy just watching her!" With endless energy, I can't wait to take her to Montana next year when she turns 2. With her keen nose and eagerness, those birds won’t stand a chance! Highly intelligent, she learns quickly and loves to curl up on the couch with me at the end of the day.

Black Stormzy

Stormzy came to our kennel when he was 3 years old. I spotted him at a training field in Texas and was instantly impressed. The owner was gracious and sold him to me. Stormzy is a top-notch British import. He’s an incredible dog—really powerful, and honestly, one of the most stylish cockers I've ever had. He’s smart as a whip and has an awesome work drive. He can make big retrieves just like my other dogs. Whether we’re field trialing, hunting, or just hanging out at home, Stormzy is the whole package. He’s a true gentleman through and through.

Terrybrook's Assiniboine Sioux

Meet a Boy Named Sioux! He is out of Bug and Clay and while only a pup, I have high hopes for this little guy. Time will tell but as a pup he's got tons of style, action and biddability. He's a pup that always want to be a part of the action.
